2 February: Groundhog Day, and a bowl of Chicken Corn Soup

Groundhog Day began with the Pennsylvania Dutch, who brought a German Candlemas weather custom to Pennsylvania. Whatever the groundhog says, their chicken corn soup with rivels is made for a cold February.
