About SoupWiki
SoupWiki is an independent reference to the soups of the world. For every soup we record where it comes from, how it is served, its main ingredients, whether it suits common diets, and a rough estimate of calories and cooking time, followed by a short recipe outline.
All descriptions and recipes are written by us. We check facts against public sources such as Wikipedia and list them on each page, but we never copy their text.
SoupWiki is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Wikipedia or the Wikimedia Foundation. “Wiki” here simply means a quick, open reference.
Editor’s scores
Editor’s scores reflect the personal taste of the SoupWiki editors. They are not a measure of a soup’s quality or authenticity, and they don’t mean a soup is good or bad.

Calories and times are estimates for a typical home-cooked serving and vary a lot between recipes. Always check labels if you have an allergy or intolerance.
