SoupWiki does not require an account and does not ask for personal information. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and performance.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools to understand which pages are read and how the site performs. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or collect personal data. Google Analytics 4 runs in Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage set to “denied” by default, which means it does not set cookies on your device; it only sends cookieless, aggregated measurement signals (such as page views) to Google. If we later ask for your consent to analytics cookies, you will be able to accept or decline them, and you can change your choice at any time. Advertising and cookies

We plan to show ads served by Google (Google AdSense) in the future. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and/or other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting these cookies.
