On 18 July 1976 in Montreal, 14-year-old Nadia Comăneci scored the first perfect 10 in Olympic gymnastics, and the scoreboard could only show 1.00. Our salute is a Romanian classic: sour meatball soup with lovage.

Ciorbă de perișoare is a Romanian sour soup with small meatballs. Minced pork or beef is mixed with rice, onion, egg and herbs and rolled into small balls, which are poached in a broth of carrots, parsnip, celery, pepper and tomatoes.
