2 April: Hans Christian Andersen is born, and a bowl of Danish Chicken Soup with Dumplings

Hans Christian Andersen, born in Odense on 2 April 1805, wrote a fairy tale about mice trying to make soup from a sausage peg. On his birthday we give them a proper recipe from his own Denmark: golden chicken soup with two kinds of dumplings.
